Millennial Renaissance Media is a media production company seeking to support up and coming young artists and help amplify diverse voices both in front of and behind the camera. They provide a platform for millennial media makers (especially women and people of color) through event coverage as well as in-house productions and services for hire.
So basically, they make their own cool stuff, they’ll help you make cool stuff, and they shine a spotlight on other people’s cool stuff.
To learn more about the exciting plans Millennial Renaissance Media has in store, visit their Seed&Spark campaign page. You still have a little over a week to help them meet their goal, and they’re offering a ton of awesome backer incentives, from a range of practical production services to a “Millennial Throwback Package” in which they will recreate a scene from your favorite 80s or 90s movie!
If you can’t help out with money or resources, you can still spread the word and especially follow the campaign on Seed&Spark–it’s free and it actually helps!
In the meantime, you can see a little of what Millennial Renaissance Media has been up to and watch founder Latresa Baker interview Ava DuVernay on the 21st Annual UrbanWorld Film Festival red carpet:
